    Have only owned two Shilens, both excellent. My 1 in 8 30" .284 won the Nationals so can't have been too bad.. The other was a 6.5x47 and that was a tack driver.

    Looking at the surface rust outside the crown threading, I'd be surprised if the muzzle end rifling is good. She's seen a fair bit of action..

    If you're only going to be using one projectile and the problem isn't caused by excessive neck tension from too small a neck diameter after sizing, the fix is to chuck up a bullet in a drill or lathe...
