Would the fact that you are running 65/70/16 might have something to do with it as well? My 2010 Triton factory tyres were 245/65/17 - you are looking at a difference of 4% diameter and 15...

The case capacity of a 250AI and a 25-08 (a.k.a. 25 Souper) are very close. I used 250AI data to develop starting loads for the 25-08, although as you point out there is not much current data in the...

They are 8 round magazines - you haven't been trying to sneak in a extra couple?. I found thatcleaning them regularly (every brick) helped, as it's amazing what crud from your pockets can...

I had a Howa Mini with 16 inch barrel and DPT - short, light, low recoil; and great for goats, whitetail, and fallow out to 150m (and a sh.tload of wallabies). Never shot it against reds, but did...

I have a 25 Souper built on a 24-inch barrel Tikka M55, normally shooting 100gn (87gn for long range wallabies). It replaced a 25-06 which wasn't much faster for more powder burnt.
