Well, bore scopes. Ok, after thinking barrels are clean which yes I use wipe out which gives me barrels that are clean, I have always wondered about carbon rings as I have understood how hard they...

Greetings, A quiet Christmas lunch today as not many of the wider family live locally. Fortunately I had asked my son to bring his bore scope out to check over some barrels. Two .308 target rifles...

BSA270 liked post by Shearer On thread : Handheld Thermal for the Bush
I have used mine in the bush quite a bit (25mm lens/640 sensor). Bloody effective. I stalk just as I normally would but every now and then scan with the thermal, just as I would with binos. Amazing...

Hah. I had no hunting edge to lose. Except my knife’s edge. I’ve always used aids. Binos, dogs, mates, luck. Hearing aids. Walking aids. Carrying aids. Thermal is just another tool. Bring it on.

Massive long shot but I left my suppressor on the ground next to my decapitated stag in this doc block. If you're heading in there, might be a chance you're heading right past it. Pm if you are...

Having used them extensively over the years I would say just remember that the smaller objective lenses generally give a better field of view than larger models while still giving adequate resolution...

BSA270 liked post by DPT On thread : DPT help
For the best results, we recommend having the bush machined on a lathe. We've encountered numerous drilled bushes that were not perfectly concentric, including one recently that was approximately 1mm...

I just changed DPT suppressor to a new rifle. I just measured barrel diameter where the bush would sit. Sent pictures and measurement to DPT. Sent me a new bush for $15 incl freight. Got here in two...

I've got a long back, and it is more comfortable for me to carry big deer on a belt than backpacking - I try and set the weight so it is pushing against my hips when I lean forward. That has the...

There's a lot of variations on the old traditional meat hunting carry method, but this one looks interesting. One things for sure, the older you get, the heavier the animals get, especially after a...

Yes, getting over carrying out whole animals but you gotta do what you gotta do when recovering animals for game chiller. Certainly don’t do it when hunting for food bank.
