I had a 6.5-06 that had the screw hole for the rear sight drilled through into the barrel (whoops) and it still shot superbly - 50mm 10 shot groups at 300m in competition were not uncommon. Of...

Can you provide links to scientific ( peer reviewed ) literature regarding lead isotope testing in NZ kea? Otherwise I call bullshit on your statements. How many bullets do you think are dispersed...

My first sambar stag. I shot it yesterday evening while out peacock shooting with Dad. I had just shot at a peacock at 265m when this guy popped his head up in my line of fire. Dad quickly confirmed...

Dont get too caught up on loading them long. Yes, it will take up some space in the case but with the right powder/primer choice its not the end of the world, you can still get good speed with them...

Except when you’re nine and starting out it’s more like “ If it’s brown - it’s down “. Just had two nights away. 20 plus deer seen. 3 shot. 2 missed. Cooking on fires and camping out. Doesn’t get any...

Ah, no. It's double the intensity. You need 6dB to double the SPL. All academic anyway. If the -peak- SPL exceeds 140, you going to suffer damage with impulse noise. 16" v 22"- both are going to...

Doesn't matter what length with no hearing protection they will both damage your hearing severely. My advice to all new and old hunters alike is to suppress the rifles you hunt with. Suppressors are...

I would argue that everyone should have a 22LR. For range , trigger and target practise it is ideal as you should not be worrind about how much ammo you use and can focus on getting the basics right....
