    +1 surely the above is spot on. A 270 is no good at close range is just a pure myth. Just like someone saying a 243 is no good for a bush rifle or using in the roar ..pure myth and utter nonsense.

    First serious roar was last year hunting in the native. Hooked now on the roar!!! Cant wait for this one. Shot my first stag bigger than a good spiker roar just gone. Ended up with 4, here some roar...

    Same, suppressors bipods dont touch my rifles(dont mind a sling thou lol) I dont wear ear protection unless at the range, need all my sences in the bush and my hearings fine ....maybe my one shot...

    Nice stags people, i see alot are shot in some nice open grass or clearings lol. Wish sometimes i had hunting like that around here. All our animals are shot in tight or reasonable tight bush . ...

    Hi, welcome. Theres a few fallow around the perlous. Bush stalking is the way to go. River flats are good in spring but always worth a look at the change of light.Plenty of goats in certain places...
