I had a .300 savage in a 99. Mechanically nice but the trigger was not flash and not a diy job for most. I found it hard to love. If it’s your first have a play with it before you drop the cash.

Very easy to take .308 to 7/08 in one pass with a FL die. Bulk WW .308, .270 and .30-06 brass is $40/100 here. ADI should be $50/100. For hunting hard to justify paying to much more.

Husky, you maybe right, my experience is lack of annealing show up in cracks in the necks at firing, different neck tension in batches resulting in poor groups and stiffness / stickiness of the case...

Apart from the split neck (throw away) i would and do continue to reload cases with small blemishes like those.
