IMO Better off heading down to King Country/Waitomo to nail some goats and the odd pig/fallow, as those North Auckland reserves have the cullers go through them every few years.

I use Federal and Murom, but any will do. Some say Federal are too soft, but I've never had issues, as I always uniform the primer pockets and check seating depth. Good guide to reloading for...

55gn or 62gn FMJs should be fine. What ever you can source. But I would just run .223, ie Hornady 50 round packs of 55gn soft points have good brass to keep if you reload, or sell if you don't.

I load 62gn ADI FMJs for my AR15 49c each 65gn Gamekings and 69 Matchkings for the AR and Sako 75 .223 at 79c each.
