You generally get 0.5 thousandths of spring back when firing. So your chamber will be 0.2975 - 0.298 at the most.

80 fps variance between LR and BS seems a bit over the top. I’ve only seen about 10-20fps difference between the two units across 6 different rifles (22’s and centrefire) and is within the stated...

Nah, he’s looking at it right. Given that the seating stem contacts between ogive and tip, if there is any variance in the ogive profile between the projectiles, you’ll get different CBTO lengths.

It’s usually only the LHS engine mount that breaks, due to the way the engine torques up. Not a biggie to replace every few years…do it in your driveway with a trolley jack and lump of timber under...

Just take a battery bank with you and plug it in. I used mine for over an hour and battery % only went down something like 15% in that time.

I had the same issue and tried all manner of things to fix it, none of which really worked 100% Returned it, got an A&D and never looked back.

Headspace is headspace. Nothing to do with freebore dimension to suit a given projectile or neck diameter for Particular brass type....but these should comply with SAAMI nonetheless.

Very unlucky to have both a tight neck and short throat in a ‘SAAMI’ chamber. Consider running a neck reamer up it to get the neck clearance you need for the brass you intend to use. Seat a...
