Just bought a replacement chrony from Robert. Good price. Oh the old one?.. it’s on the shed shelf with a hole through it. Cracks me up!

I chose a Vanguard Endeavour. Very happy with it. About $900-$1k. It was bought primarily for range spotting and I’m able to juuuuust see holes at 300 yds. (6.5x55)

I’m surprised the old 6.5x55 cal (modern action) hasn’t been mentioned. Brilliant when hand loaded with 2209/143 eldx or the 160 rn projectiles. My Tikka in this calibre is well treasured.

Eldest son recommended Salewa to me. Bought them after Lowas sh*t themselves. Never looked back unless to see if wifey was keeping up. Excellent boots.

Agreed. Remember the torch-burnt furniture from back in the day? If Douglas Fir, it’ll be stronger than Pinus Radiata of same dimensions.
