   What about one of the American systems and a load shelf? I've got a kuiu. It's pretty damn good. Hell of a lot lighter than a tatonka too.

   This or older Macpac Cascade. Both rugged and good for heavy loads.

   K2Hunter...heavy and solid,will out last me and still be going strong..find one,try it and see for yourself. the extra weight is what it is....can carry stupidly heavy load without fear of pack...

    45grns of 2208 behind a 400 grn cast is a good stout load and not too heavy on recoil..... black powder is loads of fun....a duplex load with a wee bit of smokeless 5-6-7grns underneath the black...
