Your firing pin is skinnier than the hole it pokes out of in the bolt. The primer will extrude back and into the gap between the two, hense the little ring around the strike mark in the primer....

Where it all turns to crap is that as soon as you modify the rifle without written consent it looses its warranty. It lost its warranty prior to the issue coming to light. Obviously the warranty...

It shouldnt, most of the time you will have a different point of impact shooting with it on or shooting with it off, but every time you put it back on it should shoot the same place as every other...

never noticed a difference AT ALL with taking it off then going back on....think about it....IF there was going to be a difference well then you would have to sight in AGAIN EVERY time you put it...

put it on,sight it in,go shoot stuff.....it will probably smoke a bit for first few shots (burning off oils in can) it will probably shoot about 3-4" below where it was before...eg using a bore...

Yea they handy alright, I used mine a few weeks ago to find the beams inside walls to mount the new tele , awesome for springer checks during calving, have plenty of uses aside from a hunting tool...

10/22s are a blowback action so going off of Newtons Third Law, I doubt that unless it's firing some sort of projectile then it won't cycle the action at all.
