After doing 15 cube of Mac and slabbing a bit as well some old man pine beckoned. It looked big standing up but it seems even bigger lying down. We have our work cut out for us getting this split....

If it's anything like the Kahn a neighbor brought it's not just springs but the fit of the barrels to the receiver. Even when cocked it was still stiff but it eased up after a few hundred openings...
