Good to know about the smell disappearing because I can’t find the low odour turps locally. The video I watched the guy used a dowel and zippy ties on a drill for mixing which worked well.

Used 6 mm wide goat leather lace (super strong it is too) and punched 3 mm holes . No needle , just tapered the ends to a long point and poked through holes . Used a little screwdriver to stretch...
