Had a mate forget his whole pack years ago! 4 hr drive from Wellington to the Ruahines, slept in van, sad camper next morning, drove home :-)

Not done any of those things, but have gone fishing without fishing rods before! I'm always worried about leaving my suppressor behind re: point of aim and thread protection. Knife is another one....

Left my suppressor behind on the last NZDA shoot, luckily POI doesn't change too much on my rifle. Also forgot my cooker on our last family trip so cranked the potbelly stove and cooked on that.
