If your going down to 130s get some 2206h - if you can - for my 308 47 grains of 2206h with any 130 pills I put in it is lethal. If your pushing 450 I would be chasing accuracy so do a few load tests...

If using dual loads, i would zero for the long range load, then just shoot your close range load at same aim point or fresh target with same aim point and measure the offset. If it shoots different...

You'd be right on the last count Mooseman. He was living in DoC scrub and about to come out onto top pasture. The other eight I got in a less lush spot was the same large body but not quite as fat. ...

How many people do you want to put in it. Had one for 2 weeks (years ago) and sold it as couldn't comfortably put 2 people in it with (netting) gear. So you, the Mrs and the dog could be fun.

For hunting, assuming you do not always shoot prone and with support, i say stick to hunting ammo. it is better to aim for a body shots with a hunting ammo than headshots with target ammo.

You are 100% right. You can get a 22 very accurate at 100m but you cannot/should not use it for hunting. Because to get good accuracy you must shoot target ammo, which are crap for hunting.
