A few hours chilling swinging flies, hooked 6, landed 3....kept a nice 5.5lb jack. Still not huge numbers but the quality of the ones coming through is pleasing. 230162

A mate worked on a high country station and they used crops alot catching deer, they caught 24 one night and everyone of them lived, it was a huge amount of money many years ago.

Get a good vantage point a couple of hours before sunset or just before sunrise with the wind right and use your binos. The deer can be sitting in the tussock all day and not be seen until they stand...
