so???? you could make a two groove barrel (like a long tom) simply by only cutting rifling on say 1 and 4??? or a three groove ?????? it would cut down your machining time and give a greater grip on...

$65ish to thread the end of another rifle and use the 8mm can....and the 125-130grn loads in .308 work just fine....we use them in the x39mm and deer at bush ranges dont complain they just fall over...

NZ Hunter did great/awesome article on this very thing some 7ish years ago..calibres for under 16s I believe it was .243 was high up on list .223 and 7.62x39 with correct shot placement were aswell...

Moa hunter...I have used the same reel forever and cant fault them.... you learn from get go to space line with fingers as you wind it in.....same as any reel,garden hose or D8 winch rope they all...
