Well, it's sort of the style of rifle stock. It's my 12/15 BSA Martini. Made the stock from NZ Red Beech. Fitted with a Nickel scope of about the same era. It's quite a nice wee rifle to use, and...

How my father taught me, folding the back skin (back steaks also) through the hind legs and pinning with the tail….makes a comfortable carry. Many life lessons learnt, like persistence,...

Thats true. Ruahines. The bullet went exactly into its ear hole, but we never found the bullet. Not sure where the story finding it on its tongue came from. It was around 400 yards. The last time I...

Forgot - the longest 'carry' I ever did was 8 hours, just got stubborn with that one and it did require some recuperation. I shot a 130 pounder (dressed) a couple of years ago and couldn't get it...

I carried a 200 pounder once, knew it was too heavy as I could feel my sinews creaking - but it was only half a mile to the car and moderately flat. That was the Akatarawa's. I did carry 147 hind...

Get 2980fps using RL25 & Norma brass to drive 140 AMAX pills in my 6506ai. I suspect RL26 might be better but will stick with the RL25, it’s plenty quick. And save the 26 pixie dust for other rifles
