I've never seen a 75/25 brew but I guess they are out there - I have found a campmaster 80/20 cylinder and in the interests of science I'll line up the same test I did with the Kovea 70/30 can. That...

Old_School liked post by longshot On thread : Decent shooters gloves?
A couple of other tricks I sometimes use depending on situation. 1 - wear possum-merino fingerless gloves under full size waterproof gloves. You have to take the bigger gloves off to shoot, but...

I've been wanting a pair of decent gloves that are warm and mobile. I've considered a pair of Kuiu. I have some of their gear and I do like it even though it's pricy. These are the waterfoul gloves...

So is it the butane mix proportions or the cannister pressure? Do we get what we pay for when buying gas cylinders? I would be interested to know if the more expensive cans are actually better value?...

So for facts and figures, my campmaster arrived yesterday (couldn't help myself) and with a Kovea 70/30 can up it's bum it did from 20degC to boiling in almost 4 mins flat. 500ml from the cup...

A jetboil and a BRS-3000T, 2 different animals. Jetboil is very fast and works well in windy conditions. The BRS is very good though. Matches well with 550ml or 750ml toaks pot.

That's what I use for hunting trips (when I actually go hunting!). People have different needs though. Back to Kmart. The plot thickens. Had the misfortune to go in to the Whangarei store today....

As big as Texas. At 300 they are about 18 inches across, at 600 about 36 inches. Old_School you can come along on any club day and shoot 303 or most calibers for that matter. I was just trying...

Maybe around 30 years. Good scopes. I still have one in perfect condition, the five star model.

I have run two systems to good effect. One is a "45degree canted mount weaver rail" which should fit under most scope set ups and holds the torch low and off to the side. Readily available on...

If they are the new USA Winchester subs, ignore anything being a problem except them. Absolute rubbish. The reason they aren't feeding is probably the rim is too thick on your batch. Do yourself a...

Old_School liked post by Beetroot On thread : is a 3-9x40 scope an overkill for a .22?
Not really a fair comparision as I use my competition 22 for hunting but have used my 3-15 Vortex PST a lot as well as the Delta Stryker 4.5-30. The Delta actually came in very useful for a awile...
