Looks like you tried to deprime a Berdan case with it. Are you sure an old military case did not slip into the batch. Altering dies is never a good idea. GPM.

The '06 is a great all round cartridge, can certainly be loaded up safely, heaps of different choices for projectiles, and its just as accurate as any other calibre with similar weight projectiles....
