    T3 180 gram projectiles

    Hi I have a Tikka T3 300 WSM - been using 165 grams projectiles (using 64 grams 2209), thought I might try 180 gram projectiles has anyone got a brew that works well for them to try?.

    2541 grain bullets. Your poor shoulder!

    Look up load data on ADI's website and do a workup mate.

    I've just worked up a load for a mates 300wsm using 178eldx and Hodgdon superprofrmance @ 2975fps and very low SD.

    Mates just started shooting 178 ELDM in front of 2209. 62.5 grains
    Shoots very well and just loaded at Hornady book length.
    Just over 2800 fps in 20” barrel.

    What dannyb said.

    62.5 gr is a grain below max for H4350 (2209 is same powder) in the Hornady book.
