1gr (full) initially, then half either side of the more promosing region

There is no one answer. Figure on roughly 10% steps of the nominal load. So yes, catridge capacity dependant. 0.5 gr for say 308 sized, for a 22 Hornet 0.2 gr dropping to 0.1 gr when approaching...

.2 in the trebly and .5 in the 08 while working up to find pressure. Half grain steps in a small case can go from mild to wild .

I dont bother with less than half grain change in larger case...or quarter grain in little one.....unless you chasing the last little bit of accuracy or velocity its not worth it in my book.

Yes the Vixen is probably one of the best 222 around, I bought one while culling goats in the 70's and now wished I still had it. So true those 7 shot magazines were great.

Probably the best 222 ever made, along with the early BSA's and BRNO's. Vixens in good nick are getting harder to come by now, so look after yours mate, it'll see ya out.

My Sika is back and takes pride of place on the wall. Steve Barclay did an excellent job, very happy with the end product. 150661 150662

I like long sleeve base layer and short sleeve gamegear fleece. Army woolley pulley if its cold or in the bag with a raincoat. Compression tights with shorts plus hunting trou if cold

Love the H.E camo fleece but in damp steep bush you cant beat a traditional swanny with a knife belt around your guts and your tucker dropped down the front
