    well i will TRY to be gentle with next bit too..... you have rifle that shoots amazingly.....you have the fast twist barrel so many .243s dont have so can utilize the heavier slipperier 105 hornady...

    Get a suppressor that’s not too heavy. A poorly balanced muzzle heavy rifle will give you the worms quicker than you would believe. I’d trade better balanced for noise reduction any day of the week....

    I think it's Log scale base 10. Non linear. 0db no sound. 10db is X10, 20db is x100, 30db is x1000. Etc. So 120db is another factor of 10 over 110db

    If you're just gonna be firing one or two shots at a time, yeah, DPT. Though I agree they normally need an extra baffle or two to drop the sound to the point you'd be happy to take a couple shots...
