it's never going to be that far off worst case 1 or 2 meters in any direction at 100m you should be picking a safe spot with a large safe backstop if there is any chance that the bullet could miss...

I think it’s all good with you have time if you’re shooting long range the animal doesn’t know you’re there and you have time to put on PPE etc I think it’s impractical to hunt wearing hearing...
