    i shoot top left top right center bottom left bottom right don't think it really matters tbh the less you have to move shooting positions between groups the better though

    about 80% of the top shooters for fclass and or bench rest bump 1-2 thou its no more accurate then neck size and your no worse off on accuracy ether but a 1-2 thou shoulder bump is far more reliable...

    any hunting bullet with a decent bc will do that sort of distance from a 30-06 doesn't need to be a match bullet try the speer gold dot they have a stunning bc for a soft point hunting bullet...
