I hate seating dies with grimp built in i much prefer backing the seating die off till it doesn’t crimp then I just run the rounds though a Dedicated crimp die the lee factory crimp dose an awesome...

Why don’t you develop your 223 load with the 450’s and ditch the 400’s all together surely less hassle and less chance of a mistake if you use one primer for everything

Will be a hotter load as the 450 is hotter than the 400 But as long as you’re not pushing the pressures with your 400 load you should be ok The load may shoot Different though

Sometimes mine doesn’t click in if you don’t hear an Audible click it’s not locked Cut your mag release down or simply learn to carry it in a way you don’t knock the release
