Born in Auckland. Hunter and shooter (professionally and recreationally) for 54 years. Was actively involved in SAR as a park ranger, and SAR Adviser and Search Coordinator for NZ Police (35 years). NZ Mountain Safety Council bushcraft and firearms safety instructor (22 years).

    Chindit, onya dude! I was involved for 25 years. It can be a big time commitment for training, and callouts, but if you can contribute, go for it! It is very satisfying.
