+1 for Exped. I've had the synmat 9 LW for years and it's been awesome. Yes it is a lot heavier than some other mats but I prefer to get a warm and comfortable night sleep after a long day or days...

Normally too much effort for most scumbags to go all the way in there, they tend to target easy access places like Arthurs Pass. Plus their lowered Skylines wouldn't make it up the Ahuriri road.
