In addition to the Federal 2 3/4” load, Winchester Drylock SuperSteel in 2 3/4” is another good one to try. Same 1425fps velocity, 3/4 ounce etc.

I shoot the 168s in 18” using Re17. Mild as load doing 2820fps. Puts big holes in stuff as far as I need to.

Already said above but don't go short on a 6.5 PRC. I went to 20 inches with mine and the factory Norma ammo was doing 2520fps. I reload for it now and am somewhere around 3000fps with the 143...
