Off into the scrub for a long wet weekend but just had to add my tuppence worth before I shoot the gap. I've had a Mk1 since the early 80's. Courtesy of grizzly ol' bugger on this forum. Sold it...

Wouldn't at all be surprised if that particular specimen is an ex service rifle. In service from about 1990 for ten years or so.

holdover. Not a good idea. Go 2208 or even better 2206H. If you want some 2208 I'll swap 500 gram for same quantity of 2209. My young fellah lives in AK so no drama. Your call.

The one thing that's always in my pocket is a Victorinox Climber pocket knife. Not sure what I value the most, tooth pick, scissors or blade. Amazing little multitool.

Longrun. Sounds intriguing. Do you know who did it? Hope they haven't rooted the original thread. Looking forward to pics. Shall I let Micky Duck know he's been nominated?

Longrun. I strongly suspect that a wily old politico from up my way might have something to say about that. He , too, is not a fan of co-governance. Isn't it curious though, people do tend to cringe...
