I use a Lyman M die to expand the majority of the calibres I load for even the ones I have Bushing dies for takes care of any slight differences in case neck thickness.

You could back it off a little at .3 grain steps, I think you are being the wrong term for the primers Milder would be a better description of non magnum primers.
