DaveE liked post by Stocky On thread : Vortex Fury 5000 AB NZ Stock
Not sure if your tied to the NZ dealer but my only experience with them was slow (indirectly through local store) and eventually required involving Vortex USA who were awesome. My dealing with you...

Pommy liked post by Stocky On thread : 180 eldm BC
.391 is too high unless your running a sub 1 in 8 twist. Typically you want to use the mach 2 or 1.75 given BC as a start with the ELDs for any sort of range. For the 180 and a 1 in 8.75 that's 0.364...

Most of its pretty good. I'd just look on the remote huts page and use one of the trails they have cleared for tops access if you have a few days. Definitely don't assume any ridges are climbable or...

Shearer liked post by Stocky On thread : Barret Feildcraft
Few upgrades of the barret include a stainless action and better twist rates in some calibres. It's one of the few rifles I'd trade my kimber 7mm08 for if I could get one of the 7mm08s with the 1 in...

Because of another rifles action limitations (TC Contender). Which has pressure limitations but not length limitations like an AR. In a 16.5inch barrel and the fact there now a huge range if 30...

Choppers are expensive and fuel prices are up there and I'd guess that chopper quoted can fly 3 or 4 guys in so that's pretty standard pricing. Yes backloading can be cheaper but relies on...

Yeh pretty much although jb Kwikweld is much nicer as it's set time is short. And yes 100% use a release agent of the scope. I find it less prone to marring scope tube also compared to lapping....

I've found Lapua to require reducing loads but running in the upper nodes doesn't destroy brass.
