That is the exact load I use for 162eldms in my 7mm08 SAUR100. I thought I'd try RL17 with the 162gr eldm to speed it up a bit.

Tried RL16 in my 20" barrel 7-08 with 140 gr NBT's and couldn't get any improvement on anything else, contrary to Alliant Powder load data which looked like a 100'/sec gain, maybe it's a different...

If you refer to ADI pistol data for 7mm08 it may be more useful than the rifle data. Reason: Pistol data for 7mm08 is based on a 15" barrel

Cheers guys, I might make up a couple of batches both with 2206h and 2208 and see which one preforms better, I'm not keen on going really hot, 162 is a fairly large pill and I don't think it will...

Photo attached of a combined carry/shooting sling I designed and made myself. Easy enough to make, using off-the-shelf components, and works very well in the field. I can supply more details if...

Those 145gr speer HCSP are legit. Shot a 80-90lb sow quartering away inside 100m and found my projectile mushroomed on the opposite side. Another vote for 162eldm if you can get them shooting. Not...

Hornady 139gn SST. Cheap enough, but may lead you to the same internal nuking you don't want.
