Try putting a half inch socket over the case. Change the Phillips head screw for a bolt with some fat washers between the bolt head and the socket and tighten with a spanner. Clearly there was not...

zimmer liked post by 6x47 On thread : Fixing Run-out

zimmer liked post by Tahr On thread : Poo seventy Bush pig build How short can I go???
Its a .270 - has been for a while. Often referred to. I expect it is to do with being able to display Federal factory ammo on the series. Shorter barrel .270 is a good choice though. 270 or...

If your last 14 deer were all inside 150y why even bother with cds? You could go old school and zero at 200 and shoot anything out to 250

zimmer liked post by Puffin On thread : Amazing stick insect
The spiny green ones here are smart. They know they are spiny, and so live on the Rimu. Their cousins - the smooth greens - live on the Rata. For anyone interested, the eggs can be collected and...

This incredible “bramble” appeared on a Red Band gumboot this morning. I thought it was stuck on the boot and damn nearly grabbed it to pull it off. Check out the astonishing replication of a bramble...

Sorry about the delay, and yes the write-up was a bit long and probably would have been better served with a contents listing: 1. Source quality brass in 8x57 2. Neck down to .308 ( .308Win...

Forster and Lee are the best FL dies I have used with the stock expander. I too polish them to a mirror finish. The worst I have used are Hornady (243, 7mm08, 308), and a newish Redding FL die in...
