Gidday,
My butt pad on my A350 has started to disintegrate as they all seem to. Are they easy enough to purchase from Beretta NZ?
Cheers

DavieyJones I was in Deadeye Dicks this week. They have them in stock. Can’t remember what brand they were.
Gidday, what did you pay a box in Dunedin?
Cheers
All we use is 35 gram 4 shot for steel and the 36 gram lead for stubble mallards.
I don’t bother with the steel 36 gram 3” stuff anymore. Pulled apart a 4 shot load and it only had half a dozen...
Think they were using the QL velocity vs actual velocity and taking that percentage difference and applying it to the QL pressure estimate.
A common theme that always seems to pop up in regard to long range soft projectile is the Hornady ELDM. Cheapish, good BC and bloody accurate in most guns. They expand at lower velocities and I’ve...
Gidday Morgan,
I shoot not far from Palmy. Can’t offer you any water but some good advice would be to go find the maize in the surrounding area.
There is plenty grown around the Manawatu. We...
I tend to bone out on the spot. Separating out the muscle groups means you get the heat out way faster, which is key. Hang the muscles in a nearby tree or sitting on top of a scrub bush. An extra 15...
Just goes to show, primers and brass aren’t always a good indication of pressure signs. Pretty amazing but also bloody dangerous considering they didn’t get a sticky bolt even way way above the...
If you do the maths on 708 using 162 ELDM at around max load of 2208, you’ll find it’s fine for way out there. Normally doing around the 2500 fps mark out of 16”.
What dannyb said.
62.5 gr is a grain below max for H4350 (2209 is same powder) in the Hornady book.
Mates just started shooting 178 ELDM in front of 2209. 62.5 grains
Shoots very well and just loaded at Hornady book length.
Just over 2800 fps in 20” barrel.

I live in these for work and hunting. They last for bloody years!!
For hunting I wear them with a Bridgedale liner sock. Works perfect for filling out a bit of space.

They lost a lot of barrels in the caliber bans in western Aussie. Pretty much every caliber on the list of banned ones were ones that they shot. Must’ve been gutting.
After owning a team of 12 mixed sex dogs, I can assure you, some bitches will stand earlier……:omg:
Vuarnet sunglasses
Made in France. Glass lenses. The best sunnies I’ve ever worn. The clarity is amazing. The price tag isn’t haha. Can be a little front heavy with the lenses they use.
A...
I run one of these. A lot smaller than the bigger Garmins and half the price. Means you can wear it as your daily wearer. Has all the features of a normal Garmin outdoorsy type watch, with GPS and...
No worries
Not a lot of data for 185 and Re26 on the overseas forums either

Hornady doesn’t list Re26 190 gr projectile.
Bench rest shooters have bugger all contact with the rifle. Free recoil can be the most accurate way of shooting I’m pretty sure. Happy to told otherwise.
Sounds like the chap I bumped into in Gun City one day. One of the most enjoyable conversations about reloading and wildcat cartridges I’ve ever had.
He pulled a 338-280 case and projectile out of...
It’s not Vortex. He lists all the companies that are good about criticism. Vortex on there
Set an 8” one up at 250 also, have a crack on a windy day. Always a good way of showing people the affects the wind has, even at that range.
Helps having them setup on clay pans or the like....
If it’s only a bush gun, any cheap second hand ss rifle will do the job. Remington, Howa, etc etc doesn’t have to be super accurate, but most factory rifles are pretty good these days anyway. Some...
What kind of hunting are you doing? Unless you’re bombing up goats with long strings of fire, shouldn’t it be sweet for years if just knocking over a few deer here and there?
