Hi mawser, the 14x1 will work. Check the diameter of your barrel 120mm back from cutting point to see if the rear end will fit ( assuming the suppressor your getting is an overbarrel model).

mawzer308, a standard over barrel should fit easily after cutting the barrel 3 or 4". 15x1, 16x1 or 5/8-24 could be done , the latest being the most popular.
