I'll keep running my 30yo diesel until it is no longer viable.
Late model Hilux for a work vehicle means it doesn't make sense to upgrade anyway.

Was in the region couple weeks ago. Goats aplenty.
Seen them roadside all over north of there too.
Several nannies following a Billy across the road in ngakawau, and farmers asking me to take them...
If you like goat you'll be in with a grin!
That's exactly what I mean.
People that don't know anything about firearms making laws about them and bringing a whole lot of stupidity to the discussions.
That's gutting man. Sorry to hear that.
Scare mongering and fear tactics works. They'll always sensationalise it to get the reaction that they want.
Every time a meaningful conversation happens with firearms legislation and the registry,...
The newer indian made Suzuki's can be difficult to get parts for. Was told 3 month wait and $400ish for one engine mount. Part came from India. Couldn't find any aftermarket options. This was for...
It's gutting to hear about the thefts. Question, were they in safes and forced open or angle grinder or something?
Just wanting to keep security tight especially with neighbours of the drug taking...
Everytime it appears to be discussed by the political types, it always goes back to 'military style semi-automatic weapons'
A very polarising conversation that I feel will always get in the way of...
Thanks Micky,
Not surprised as the norinco are a Brno copy? Well the jw15 is anyway.
It's shooting great with CCI now. As quick as you can pull the trigger, which doesn't take any effort to pull...
Thanks for all the tips everyone
Managed to get it feeding nicely after trying some of the suggestions. It's loading perfectly if I have 7 rounds in it instead of 8, which I'm fine with for the...
Not true. Comes down to your tenancy agreement.
There was clauses in law surrounding fixing baby gates, earthquake proofing furniture by screwing to wall, minor alterations etc.
I have in the past...
The inspector was a volunteer firefighter who did mention that.
Firearms are fine, but ammo box to be kept elsewhere.
I've never had a landlord climb into the attic in a house inspection, but...
I had an inspector tell me you don't need to ask permission from a landlord, as they should have no business knowing you have firearms anyway, and as best practice put it in the roof space if...
Yes you can, but might be difficult finding the studs in the right spot.
Any two sides of it.
I went with big bolts, M12 100mm jobies and the inspector was stoked.
I did that, matched them as close as I could and the rounds were sitting differently which makes me think it's the back piece that is lower than the other causing it maybe.
I'll take pliers with me...
I think this could be the problem, but there's no way to adjust it. Seems weird one is much shorter than the other?

The rounds are definitely sitting slightly different

Thanks guys, no I strictly only put 8 rounds in.
I opened them up and they're absolutely filthy inside, it looks as though the previous owner had put CRC or something in there that has attracted...
Thanks.
The bolt tries to close on a round pointing upwards, crushing it so my limited knowledge (my first semi) tells me they're exiting the mag pointing too far up?
When you pull the bolt back...
No advice before I try to open them up and blast them with brake cleaner?
Forgot to say that the springs are still strong and they both click in and seat nicely in the gun

I'm having issues with both mags for my BRNO 581 misfeeding.
The one on the left (pictured) only occasionally misfeeds, but the one on the right jams every other shot, with the round pointing...
Yes, Marshall automotive and tyres wairakei Rd. Was maybe 6 months ago.
I rock a oilskin from Styx mill. Solid gear.
Good on ya for going with NZ made.
Yup, put it forward on the rail and tighten er up, few bunnies later and it's working its way back. Cheapo rings.
The two rifles I bought seem to have decent rings too..
The BRNO has original...
