your best hunting area would be the haurangi ranges ,aeasy hunt would be up the pinnacles creek park at carpark walk upstream, don't go left to pinnacles,just follow main river for about half hour...

a good easy hunt is up corner creek, at ocean beach southern rimutakas, good doc campsite 200mtrs past corner creek, or up corner creek10mins true left theres an old bivvy up on the terrace.
