A mate has a Churchill (rebranded akkar) semiauto and i cant fault it cycles sweet on trap loads and steel duck shooting loads never seen him have a problem with it

I got one but ended up taking it back couldn't get it to cycle the extractor kept slipping off the empty cartridge only pulling it half out then the charging handle flew off into the grass somewhere ...

Soo cocked up a bit here guys i remembered the measurements wrong my rifle is already 22" and i was thinking of taking it to 20 or 19". 20" would probably just fit without stock mods but 19 wouldn't....
No its fine if i leave it 24" if i cut it back to 22" i need to do something with the stock.

Yea that was the plan to widen it but that would only work with the standard houge overmoulded jobbie it has now as a stock from boyds or similar would be too narrow

Thanks for all the advice guys will have a play around with it and will let you know how it goes. Already have the suppressor picked it up a few months ago for a price i couldn't turn down otherwise...
I shall weigh it when i get home but main reason im putting it on is just to save the ears a bit so if going on any big hunts il probably leave it behind if its too much of a pain in the ass.

Might keep the length then i had some vauge idea that shorter might help my piss poor offhand accuracy but Gibo is right it wont be fuck all. And DoubleShot i think its the older one still stainless...
From what i gather would loose 50-100 fps which isn't huge but still. It just looks too long to me but in reality i dunno if i would notice carrying it around
