Nice stag and sweet mullet:cool:
Is it worth hunting near the tops in the Roar? I usually hit the bush lower down but I was wondering if up higher might be worth a crack.
I started my boy doing overnight trips off Clements road. Hard animals to hunt but you get plenty of encounters.
150gr Corelocts in my 308. Haven't tried 180gr. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
The hut is always busy. Fly camp at least an hours walk away from the hut and you will be fine.
Slow down
Is he still intact? He might be good to put over my girl.
I think Heading Dogs have strong Border Collie lineage but the NZ Heading Dogs have other breeds I'm there as well.
They look a bit different.
She actually seems hornier now she is not bleeding.
Yeah. Thanks for that. She can sit this one out.
My bitch is on heat. Bleeding has stopped. Safe to take her hunting? Will she want to hunt or will she be preoccupied with sex? Just looking at an overnighter.
Thanks in advance.
Another option is to get Richard White to drop you off somewhere along the Waikaremoana road or the back of Whites clearing.

Heaps of Deer in the Ureweras. Pick a hut that's been burnt down and fly in, then walk another hour or so. Central Waiau or Waiawa are 2 options.
Jeds coffee bags work a treat. I just chuck them in the pot and bring them to the boil
Give Hadads in Otorohanga a call.
Just get a Garmin Fenix
I like to cover the ground. Walk the Ridges. Roar down the sides onto spurs and Gully. Wait a minute or so and carry on if no replies. If one roars back don't roar ba k too soon. If you roar too much...
Walk along the track for another hour and then start hunting would be my advice.
Just keep shooting as many as we can. If good buggers on here want to share intel that is also good.
Single Shot Bergara in 308 with a Red Dot:cool:
Best way to start them is as follows.
1 Open tap to let fuel into pan.
2. Turn off tap
3. Light fuel
4. Wait for flame to completely die out.
5. Turn tap back on and light the stove.
1 fuel bottle and 1 litre did my son and I for a week.
I've got a 5.5 workmate I'm looking at selling. It's an older one with a 90 horse Yamaha. Might suit you. Will definitely be within your budget.
Good Story. Honest hard yards bush hunting.
Are you sure you have zoomed in on the area first?
I have the pro version and Linz imagery won't work with it. Erin aerial works good for aerial imagery though.
