Out of curiosity. Did you have to swop out the bolt stop to, with the m+ mag?

Might be worth checking legal requirements for thickness etc too. Be bugger to buy something wasn't up to spec....
This may help?. Short video of installation.

I have one. I think it depends what you want to do with it. For hunting/skinning etc serrated is a pain in the arse. For cutting plastic packing tape/packaging, rope etc serrated is awesome.
Or, get...
Some of the newer rangefinders will take the angle to target into consideration and give you an adjusted range reading. Saves having to work it out yourself.

Nicely done. I have a model 70 here that I'm hoping to do the same to one day. Good to see the progress and results. Enjoy.

Oh man, that sucks!. Brought my first decent scope from him many years ago, and a lot of stuff since. It was sad to hear he was selling up, even sadder to hear of his passing.

Just out of curiosity. Why do you want to run 2 different cans?. If one works well just use that one. Or, Sell the other one and replace it with a duplicate of the one that works?

If your going to dial up your scope you'll also need a range finder so you know how much to dial. If your just guess-timating you might as well stick with mpbr.

I have just been in the same situation. I inherited a model 70 22.250 carbine. I had plans to tidy it up and leave it original, thinking it would be a great gun for the kids to use .but after...

Few years ago. First time out chasing Sika. Spent the day following the dog around some awesome country. Spotted a few animals, including 2 stags fighting on a slip face in the distance. Didn't fire...
Hunting, 3 in the mag(tikka 7mm.08). Another loaded mag on my belt. 7 spare rounds in pack. Usually only shoot 1 or 2 animal at a time. Pest control... All of it, everything even the corroded ones...
I agree with MSL . They last well but are not the most comfortable. Great "work" boot but wouldn't recommend if your doing a lot of miles.

How far are you planning to shoot?. If it's your first range finder I would guess your not doing a lot of ELR shooting at present. If you're not shooting past 800m any half decent rangefinder with a...
Not Waikato but could be worth trying Westlorne ltd

That's some nice work Ftx325. Always good to keep the missus happy[emoji6]. Do you mind if I ask where did you get the belt clips from?. They look like a good design.

I really like that!. What a cool way to blend traditional and "tacticool" styles. The colored washers are a nice touch. Look forward to seeing finished product.

We have used a fair bit of nova flow on the farm. It works well but is easily blocked by trees roots. Even grass roots will block it if it's too shallow. You need to get it at least 500mm deep. If...
