    barska spotting scope

    Does anyone know much about the15-40 bar ska spotting scope? I realize they are no swarze but would it being good as an entry level scope at all?

    I have one. Shit except on a range. Poor light gathering. Only cost me $20USD from ebay and barely useful at 100m

    Look at vivitar 20-60 really cheap and VERY good.
    I've had a few high end spotters and laugh if want but this thing is really dam good.

    Hey cheers guys, I figured that would be the case. The vivitar interests me but I'm not a member on that site. Do retail stores have them anywhere?

    I can watch animals clearly at 1600 yards.
    Pic hits on gongs to 1400 yards.
    That's all I need a spotter to do. @199p you've looked through one.

    I bought one at a cheap price and basically it is a piece of crap. I keep it in my rifle range box and use it at 100 yds. In short, it is not very good.
