    E-Cat gun safe

Hi again. Just brought a E-cat gun safe off trade me. Brand new and well made. Here is a listing number on trade me 517646763, 6mm construction. But when i measure the thickness with vernia calipers, i read 5.80 mm. Have i been ripped off by the seller or is this normal, ie that is the machine grade of 6mm steel plate.

1/4 inch is 6.35 mm. I wouldnt have a problem. I think the cheeky little asian has a 5 mm safe with a thick coat of paint on it. Payed 70 bucks frieght to. Is it still worth the risk of being declined by the police or should i find the guy and lean the safe against his front door. Payed 670 all up.

Will def be following this with interest. When something is half the price of normal price, then it does raise my eyebrows. But then if it does the job . . .

I can get no-name safes cheap from the mfg
I'd bring a bunch in if there was a call, however storing and moving 10x 200+kg safes isnt the easiest thing to do

Group buy!! Put up a thread, pre-sell, get deposits. I'm keen for one, if it's a 10 gun sort of size
