    Bahco Knives

    Saw a post on social media from a sponsored outdoors guy. He said he was yarning to the Bahco NZ distributor and they were either stopping supply to NZ or stopping the line completely globally. Unsure which one as it wasn’t that clear.

    I’ve bought 4 from Wrightsons just in case….

    A quick google suggests the 'updated' 2446 is made in China, where the older 2444 was made in Sweden...

    I'll grab another one before they are all gone. My one and only example tells me it is lonely.

    I also have a 45 year old Frosts Mora laminated blade knife. It is nothing like the modern Bahcos or Frosts. Don't know if the old knife is still available?

    There was a thread of about 50 pages about these knives on the old forum. A lot of good natured ribbing of the fan boys and shit thrown back. Good times.

    IIRC that thread was one of the longest and most entertaining ever. Sales must have soared at that time.
