    Stalking Slippers??

This has probably already been done but will ask anyway.

Whats out there cheap and nasty, lightweight just slips into the backpack as back-up footwear,

    A firm but soft soul.

Any ideas. dive booties, grand dads slippers..whatever.

    Interested to know.

Real leather mocasins like the First Peoples would have worn in the America's, even crocs would be ok

I was more thinking a back up for to keep the leatheries dry if a wet run of weather comes through.

About to spend a bit of time in the bush and want to avoid daily wet feet in one pair of boots.

Might stop at warehouse and see what they got, hopefully something more than pink bunny rabbit slippers.

Yeh, I know what you mean, would limit use to the wettest day only, my more successful days are after about 6 hours of pouring rain.

Very compact would push into corner of pack easy as.

On a longer trip, esp if flying in, I take dive boots or a pr of old runner's,

used to take an old pr socks with a leather sole sown in, great for hut use.

Smooth soles like leather moccasins will see you spending lots of time on your arse.
