    Been getting shit on here for over 12 years of the accuracy of my Stirling14p lr .22

    Dundee you are slipping in your old age. A younger Dundee would have shown an unscarred target and claimed to have put all five shots through the centre hole. Ha ha ha ha
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    I believe the old stock rotted off a couple if years ago and the replacement is confusing you

    go the mighty stirling .my 1st .22 with its NikkoTiara4x28 atop -later changeds to a tasco 4x40.deadliest bunny possum rig I ever had .dcue to marital breakup it and my gameking shotgun went west!I have an identicqal model shotty in the safe but alas no stirling.

    @kotuku, I've got a stirling 14p with no magazine you can have if you want? Just need to get from Central up to Chch.

    It was that 190 yard shot on a hare a couple of years ago that me requesting a retest with a hare shaped target and the local Methodist Minister to officiate ( cant remember why now ), a matter that has yet to be concluded.

    My 1st .22, in fact still my main one 34yrs and tens of thousands of rounds later.
    I mostly used Remington Yellow Jackets, great stuff. Still have a few boxes and a full brick.
