    Yes correct but you could also say that about most things, home DIY or fixing your car or boat often doesn't add up either. I get gunsmith to do mine but who knows in future with pre-chambered barrels becoming popular?

    God knows why Sako/Tikka don't put some anti-seize on their barrel threads. Possibly to stop amateurs shagging with it.

    how to scratch a barrel so no client will ever come to u again
    Rosin on a wood clam shell insert in a decent bench vise
    all u need is the action spanner
    his clamp and action wrench - can be made for under $100
