Thread: 6.5 143 ELD-X, are they THE 6.5 hunting bullet?

Don't throw away your Noslars but don't be worried about the 6.5 ELDX they are a very good bullet. We use them in a 260 and 6.5 x 55 with great effect. We have recovered a few from various deer one my brother in law shot at 528 yards which expanded into a perfect mushroom. I shot my biggest sambar stag at about 40 yards and found bullet by flank after penetrating from shoulder then angled out through gut to flank, it took out the heart etc.
