I have just been through this exercise with a mates Tikka with a 20 inch barrel. 162eldm and rl17 giving us 2700fps with an sd of 4fps shoots amazingly well.

In reference to temperatures, I was gong shooting to 600 yards this weekend, both with the 284 and 7mm08 at 0 degrees and at (unknown as yet) elevation. It was quite interesting that both my friends rifles, and mine both shot about 2.5 to 3 MOA higher, and an increase in about windage was also needed.
This was working off Strelok predictions.
Less friction during flight I presume, but both the 162ELDMs and 160 TMKs were very consistent, so happy.
Trying to resurrect a post here, what was everyones go to charge weight when running the 162eldm and 2208. Have the ability to load to the lands but happy to run wherever. Gun is a 17" tikka, dpt can, carbon stock
I wouldn't bother with the 162 ELD-M's, they're no good... I'll even offer to take them off your hands![]()
41gn 2208... seated out long. Normal reloading warning apply, work up to this, safe in my rifle but not necessarily yours![]()
41.3 gr for me, which is .3 gr over max off the top of my head.
I also have a node around 40.6 gr.

Ubique.

Ended up switching powders as i was having hard time with the 2208 strangley enough. 2206h was the winner in the end, thanks to @superdiver for the advice on that
What was your final load mate?
