Firstly congratulations on selecting the undisputed king of calibres, nothing from rabbits to elephants is safe from it. However seeing its a standard Im curious why you decided to fire form some brass, were you starting from another case. I agree with everone else its probably reamer chatter and should polish out. BTW whats the rifle, and could we see a photo?

The case scratches won't make the cases stick, what makes them stick is the scratches in the chamber.

If you try and polish it out, you'd have to remove brass round the scratches, seems better just "iron them level" from inside out - to that end just reload and fire in the newly polished chamber.

Here you go @Mary Henry have to agree with you when everyone is bang on about 270 this and 300 that they seem to forget that this is the round that there round is based on.
It's a bsa cf2 action with new NZ walnut stock and trueflite barrel.
Thanks for the advice guys I'll keep you all posted should have it back from the gunsmith in a couple more days. Busy season for him here with every man and his dog taken there broken shotguns in to get them fixed at the last moment they had all year to do it lol

marks off cases....place case in cordless drill as you will for using LEE trimmer....grab a green scotchbrite or similar and spin away to your hearts content....it polishs up cases quite well so will remove worst of it,if not they at least be smooth n shiney.
